Nominations are assessed by the award’s judging committee based on the following criteria:

  • Contributions to the promotion of global fraternity, solidarity, fairness, and world peace
  • Impact on the local community; being a role model and inspiring and mentoring role models
  • Innovation to find new ways to foster fraternity and collaboration
  • Recognition from international organizations and community members

The Judging Committee

The independent judging committee is appointed by the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity. Each year, the judging committee is composed of a group of prominent figures in the area of peacebuilding and human coexistence.

Nominations received for the award; information relating to the investigation and deliberation of the judging committee members; as well as the names of qualified nominators must be kept confidential for a minimum of 30 years after the granting the award.
